Medical Assistant (Bilingual - Spanish)

A Non-Profit Medical Group serving the communities of Los Angeles, is searching for dedicated Bilingual Medical Assistants to join their exceptional team!

Medical Assistants will support a busy Community Health Clinic serving pediatric and general practice patients. The ideal candidates are compassionate, detail-oriented professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
Shift: M-F – 8:00AM – 5:30PM
Location: Echo Park, CA

Job Requirements for Medical Assistant:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or General Practice.
• Previous experience working in a Community Health Clinic preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required.
• Comfortable administering immunizations and injections to both pediatric and adult patients.
• Proficient in venipuncture and blood collection techniques.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, infection control practices, and clinical best practices.
