Position Summary
This position is responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the physician. The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physician with patient care in compliance with the Ohio Administrative Code. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, routine clinical and administrative duties as needed to meet the needs of the practice to which it is assigned. The duties of the Medical Assistant vary from office to office based on size and specialty of the practice
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, Certification, Registration, LicenseHighschool or GEDBLS - Basic Life SupportCPR - Cardiopulmonary ResuscitationField of Study: High schoolYears of Experience: 1-3 years equivalent experience working as an MA in an ambulatory settingSpecialized Knowledge: • Knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology & anatomy • Basic math and computer skills• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written• Strong customer service skills • Knowledge and familiarity in working with insurance companies
