About the Role:
Clearwater Family Medicine and Allergy is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Clearwater, FL! Responsibilities:

• Administer allergy injections and monitor patients for adverse reactions post-injection
• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies
• Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately in EMR
• Perform routine clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection
• Manage patient flow and coordinate scheduling to ensure efficient clinic operations
• Provide patient education on allergy treatment plans and medication instructions

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• Prior allergy shot (immunotherapy) administration experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a family medicine, allergy, or primary care clinical setting
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient-centered bedside manner
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
