As a Medical Admissions/EMR Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of all stages of participant activities including screening, training, and evaluations.  Duties include entering and updating study information into database systems, collecting and organizing panelist’s paperwork and documentation, and developing positive participant communications and relationships.  We require a minimum of an Associate's degree in a related field, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively. Prior work history in medical admissions is not required, but is definitely a plus. As this position also is involved in translating and communicating with study participants, spoken and written Spanish-English bilingual ability is required (and tested). 
 
This full time position does require the ability to work a flexible schedule, as needed, to meet study participant screening and selections needs. This position requires early morning hours from 6am-4pm, on a regular basis. You will work 40 hours a week, mainly Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.  If you are detail oriented and have great organizational skills, this may be the job for you!

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in related field
  • 2-3 years related experience in client service, electronic medical records
  • Experience in organizing and managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work hours necessary for study participant screening and selections, including Saturdays
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows based applications
  • Spanish-English bilingual language ability is required (tested).
