A typical day will include:
- Supporting Residential Nursing Services division with all administrative duties
- Managing medical record document storage management
- Placing and receiving phone calls to vendors, medical consultants, insurance companies etc.
- Ensuring several parallel and time-sensitive projects are completed by deadlines
- Following The Arc of San Diegos medical records request protocol
What youll need to be successful:
- Associates degree (AA) with at least one year as aMedical Administrative assistant
- Knowledge of healthcare operations
- Experience using electronic case management systems (THERAP)
- Familiarity with medical and insurance legislation
Wed love it if you:
- Had strong knowledge of computer and operating systems (MS Office, Zoom)
- Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, and organizations skills
- Are multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Tagalog)
- Had prior experience drafting medical communications with clients families/conservators
