Our client, a world leader in life sciences and biotech industry, is looking for a “Media Prep Lab Services Associate Technician"<\/b> based out of South San Francisco, CA.<\/b><\/span>

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility of further extension)<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

Pay Rate : $27/hr on W2<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

Schedule:
Flexible shifts Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, up to 30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours based on business needs.<\/span><\/b><\/p>

We are seeking a detail -oriented Laboratory Technician<\/b> to support research operations in a regulated environment. This role is responsible for ensuring laboratory readiness<\/b> through labware processing, sterilization, media and reagent preparation, and efficient workflow support. The Technician will operate and maintain lab equipment, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP standards and documentation practices (ALCOA)<\/b>.<\/span>

The ideal candidate will have hands -on experience with autoclaves, aseptic techniques, and media preparation<\/b>, along with strong organizational skills to support multiple lab teams in a fast -paced setting. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining lab efficiency, supporting audits, and collaborating with cross -functional teams to enable smooth research operations.<\/span>

Qualifications:<\/span><\/u><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; college -level coursework in biology, chemistry, or related field required (AA/AS preferred)<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Experience: 1+ year of laboratory experience in academic, biotech, or regulated environment preferred<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and contamination control<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Familiarity with media preparation and buffer/reagent preparation<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, inventory systems, or lab tracking tools)<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
