The School District of Amery is hiring a Media Center Paraeducator for Amery Intermediate School. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Media Specialist, the Media Center Paraeducator is responsible for assisting students with projects and assignments using materials and technology, assisting the librarian with the day-to-day operation of the media centers, assisting school staff with materials and equipment needs, and supporting the building librarian.
This position is 7.5 hours per day on student contact days, plus includes five additional work days before or after the school year as directed by the supervisor.
The School District of Amery is a public PK-12 district of approximately 1,200 students in four buildings on one campus. Amery is one of the highest achieving districts in western Wisconsin. The district encompasses 190+ square miles in Polk and St. Croix Counties, approximately one hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul. Amery is known as the "City of Lakes" which is comprised of four lakes and the Apple River.
