• Pay rate: Up to $36.68/hour
• Job Location: Ashland, MA – requires occasional travel to Boston, MA worksite

Description:
We're seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to support manufacturing operations by designing, developing, and maintaining integrated electromechanical systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on automation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test mechatronic systems and components
• Develop control systems and algorithms for automated equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing mechatronic systems
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement technical solutions
• Document designs, testing activities, and engineering processes
• Travel between Hopkinton and Boston facilities as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related Engineering discipline
• 3+ years of experience as a Mechatronics Engineer
• Experience with:
  • CAD software
  • PLC programming
  • Control system design
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing or automated production environment experience
• Hands-on integration of mechanical, electrical, and software systems
• Robotics and industrial automation experience
