Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent related experience. What You'll Do Install, troubleshoot, and commission new or modified manufacturing equipment. Support equipment construction, mechanical assembly, testing, debugging, and startup activities. Work directly with production equipment to ensure successful installation and operational readiness. Troubleshoot mechanical systems and resolve installation and equipment issues. Interpret engineering drawings, mechanical schematics, and P&IDs. Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, equipment vendors, and project engineers. Update installation documentation, drawings, checklists, and machine specifications. Assist with equipment modifications to improve performance and installation efficiency. Procure and coordinate materials required for equipment installation projects. Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and project timelines. Provide training and technical guidance to maintenance personnel and installation teams. What We're Looking For Experience supporting mechanical equipment installation in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with industrial equipment. Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs. Knowledge of mechanical drive systems, pneumatic actuators, process piping, and process variables. Hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments, alignment tools, and common hand tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel within North Carolina as project needs require. Additional Information No third party resumes will be accepted.
