We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This opportunity is perfect for a seasoned professional who is well-versed in the intricacies of the manufacturing process, has a knack for troubleshooting, and is adept at ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery. Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunctions, such as leaks, wear and tear, and sound anomalies.
2. Implementing preventive maintenance measures and conducting routine servicing to keep machinery and mechanical equipment in optimal working condition.
3. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults for manufacturing equipment including injection molding machines, extrusion machines, and other related equipment.
4. Repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
5. Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to perform installation or repair tasks.
6. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
7. Documenting and maintaining records of all maintenance and repair work done, including the date of service, the nature of tasks, and any parts replaced.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures, as well as a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
3. Proficiency in repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, particularly injection molding machines and extrusion machines.
4. A solid understanding of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
6. Strong technical understanding and the ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
8. Proven experience with injection molding, Injection Molded Plastic, extruded plastic, and extrusion.
9. A valid certification or diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field would be an advantage.
