They conduct inspections using techniques like UT, MT, PT, and VT per industry standards, collect and analyze data on corrosion, cracks, and welds, and identify defects impacting safety and reliability.
Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting findings, supporting risk-based inspections, and ensuring safety protocols.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, certification in at least two NDT methods, and 2+ years of field experience. Preferred skills are additional certifications, digital reporting proficiency, and safety credentials.
The role involves working primarily outdoors in field environments, requiring physical activity, attention to detail, communication skills, and occasional overtime. It entails regular contact with internal teams and external clients, with travel to industrial sites.
