$170,000–$200,000 Base | Relocation Assistance + Bonus

The Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role at a high-growth manufacturer of Power Distribution Modules, Generator Enclosures, and E-Houses serving mission-critical infrastructure globally. You will own the full mechanical design lifecycle — from custom enclosure engineering through cross-functional execution — at a company redefining how power infrastructure is built and delivered. If you have deep experience in mission-critical enclosures and are ready to lead at scale, this role was built for you.

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Competitive base salary of $170,000–$200,000
  • Relocation assistance provided
  • Performance bonus eligibility
  • High-impact leadership seat at a company in active growth

Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead mechanical design of industrial control panel enclosures, skids, cabinets, generator enclosures, and integrated power distribution assemblies
  • Own the design and execution of custom high-voltage systems including E-Houses and Power Distribution Modules
  • Collaborate with Structural and HVAC disciplines to ensure integrated systems meet durability, safety, and efficiency requirements
  • Specify materials and components with attention to geographic and environmental application requirements
  • Produce complete design packages — drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation — in compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Serve as the primary technical interface with clients throughout each project lifecycle
  • Drive engineering schedules and coordinate cross-functional teams across Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing
  • Establish and continuously improve internal engineering standards, design efficiency, and manufacturability practices
  • Lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and uphold rigorous quality assurance standards

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience, with at least 5 years working on mission-critical custom enclosures
  • Hands-on experience with generator enclosures, fuel tank systems, or UL-listed enclosure applications within the mission-critical industry — required
  • Expertise in mechanical design within commercial or industrial construction environments
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD 3D, and related engineering design tools
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
