Position Summary
The Mechanical Engineer plans and conducts engineering and product development projects important to the organization. This role involves all phases of development, from initial concept and 3D modeling to prototyping and testing for defense manufacturing applications. The candidate will apply mechanical engineering principles to ensure products meet technical specifications and rigorous safety standards.

Duties
Provide mechanical and systems engineering services including 3D solid modeling, FEA/CFD simulations, and technical documentation.

Develop equipment specifications and detailed designs using 3D CAD software to determine the size, shape, and arrangement of parts.

Identify and incorporate advanced materials, coatings, and surface treatments into next generation products and robotics systems.

Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design, safety, and ergonomic requirements.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary up to $150,000.

B.S. Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of experience in Mechanical, Aerospace, and/or Systems Engineering.

Defense manufacturing experience preferred.

Strong design experience with SolidWorks and Creo preferred.
