Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to design and implement complex mechanical and hydraulic systems in Wausau, WI? Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or technical degree plus 3 years of related experience) with 5+ years of machine design experience
- Design and implement mechanical and hydraulic systems, including hydraulic power units, control manifolds, and cylinders
- Develop hydraulic schematic diagrams and perform hydraulic and mechanical system sizing calculations
- Design, develop, test, and commission startup projects, including FAT and SAT participation
- Perform static and dynamic calculations, design reviews, peer reviews, and prepare O&M documentation
- Design machines, brackets, supports, and piping for new and existing equipment
- Travel 20–30% domestically and to Canada (valid passport required or ability to obtain one)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, controls, HMI, and mechanical disciplines
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
