The Mechanical Engineer will work on mechanical problems of moderate scope, supporting manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is focused on plant support, maintenance collaboration, and process optimization —
not a design-focused engineering role.
The engineer will assist with projects, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to automation and efficiency improvements within the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Support mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Assist in planning, development, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and uptime
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives across production processes
- Work with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to execute projects
- Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams
Must-Have Skills- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- 2+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude
Required Skills- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems in production environments
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and maintenance operations
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing contractors and maintenance technicians
- Exposure to automation and continuous improvement initiatives
Industry Experience- Manufacturing / Industrial environment required
- Experience with production processes and equipment maintenance preferred
Education- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)

- Ideal candidate will be hands-on and comfortable working on the production floor
