Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering TechnologyRequired Skills for the Mechanical Engineer:- 2-4 years of experience- Strong data analysis skills- Strong communication skills- Strong organizational and time management skills- Basic understanding of diesel engine operation and troubleshooting skills- Adept at working with computers and computer systems including Excel, MATLAB, Office 365 toolsDesired Skills:- Works well independently- A strong personal initiative- Advanced computer skills such as Macro writing or Visual Basic for Microsoft Excel, SQL, Crystal Reports, or Power BIMechanical Engineer Overview:The main function of a Mechanical Engineer is to research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes.
