The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and delivery of mechanical systems for mission critical and technically complex projects. This position is ideal for a technically skilled, proactive engineer with an MEP background who enjoys solving problems creatively and working independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

What you will do?

  • Design and coordinate mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and related systems for mission critical and high-performance facilities.
  • Develop drawings, calculations, and specifications that meet project and client requirements.
  • Review applicable codes, standards, and design criteria to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal design disciplines and external partners to ensure project success.
  • Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Apply independent judgment and creative problem-solving to address technical challenges.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards.
  • Support mentoring and technical development within the team as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, or ability to obtain within one year.
  • 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in mission critical or similar complex environments.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Independent thinker with initiative and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Experience with Revit, SolidWorks or other 3D design tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of mechanical principles in the areas of strength of materials, statics, heat transfer and selection of industrial components.
