    Role Overview

    The Mechanical Engineer at ALLTEX Staffing is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment that support industrial operations. This role ensures reliability, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards while driving innovation in mechanical processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems, machinery, and components for industrial use.
    • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical engineers, project managers, operations staff) to support plant activities.
    • Prepare detailed technical reports, schematics, and documentation for mechanical projects.
    • Recommend and implement upgrades to improve efficiency, safety, and performance.
    • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
    • Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, hydraulics, and materials science.
    • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS).
