    Description

    Lead Conceptualization Modeling Analysis Documentation and Test/Validation of Semiconductor Chamber Hardware

    Work with potential suppliers to ensure parts can be manufactured in accordance with performance and cost objectives. Ensure documentation is consistent with SEMI Lam Standards and other standards as applicable (ANSI DIN, etc.).

    Design parts using metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coating/plating. Develop and execute test plans that generate characterization data sufficient to understand and validate the performance of the design. Develop and present reports/presentations of excellent quality that communicate design intent, analysis, and validation.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware designs meet overall product objectives. Provide work leadership training and mentoring to junior and new engineers.

    Conduct thermal flow and stress simulations to optimize designs prior to fabricating parts.

    Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree or 8 years and a Masters degree or a PhD with 6 years experience or equivalent experience.

    Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and fundamentals, including design principles, machine elements, materials, fabrication methods, and integration and testing. Extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the use of 3D CAD tools such as Pro/E, NX, etc.

    Able to deliver in a dynamic, challenging, and fast-paced working environment to challenging development schedules. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent presentation skills, and strong customer-interaction skills.

    Strong skills and experience in problem solving, time and priority management, and project management. Strong attention to detail in design documentation and project execution.

    Interest in potential Engineering Management responsibilities. Semiconductor industry experience is not required but a plus.

    Fluency with modeling and assemblies in Siemens NX CAD system. Proficient with thermal and structural analysis.

    Prior experience developing semiconductor capital equipment in particular ALDCVD chamber hardware and plasma generation.

    Experience with CFD flow simulation for gas flow in vacuum systems.

    Hands-on, passionate about hardware development.

    Supervisory or Management experience.
