Mechanical Design Engineer

Background in composites (design, analysis, test, repair or all of the above to support the testing and repair of composite structures. Three plus years' experience in setting up composite damage tolerance tests and familiar with processing and/or repair of composite structures. This engineer would be working with an in-house Subject Matter Expert (SME) in composite structures.
Researches, plans, analyzes, designs, and develops mechanical products such as ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, mechanisms, and other devices.
Function as a Technical point of contact (POC) on government contracts for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) & Notice of Revisions.
Create & maintain product parts, assemblies & drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 4.0 M080 modeling software.
Education Requirements: B.S. degree in a relevant technical discipline (typically mechanical or aerospace engineering).
Experience creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems, preferable PTC Pro-E or CREO.
Ability to obtain a security clearance up to Secret Level.
