Position Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Level 2) to support the design of small components and assemblies for sensor, electronic, electromechanical, and precision optical systems. This role is ideal for candidates with early-career experience who have strong proficiency in CAD tools and relevant design exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop small components and assemblies using CAD software
  • Support engineering efforts for sensor, electronic, electromechanical, or optical systems
  • Create and modify 3D models, drawings, and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production needs
  • Apply engineering fundamentals to meet design requirements and timelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX
  • High experience with at least one CAD platform: SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo
  • Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing considerations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Exposure to design for production or production line support
  • Basic knowledge of shock, vibration, or stress analysis
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX
  • High experience with at least one CAD platform: SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo
  • Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing considerations
