With design, production and test facilities in both the United States and Japan, sales offices in Las Vegas, Houston, violin Welsh London and Tokyo, Nikkiso Cryo offers prompt and full support for all of our customers worldwide.Job OverviewWorking within the Engineering department, reporting to the Design Engineering Manager and working with guidance from the Engineering team, the Design Engineer II is responsible for implementing project design and improvement to existing products in accordance with design plans.ResponsibilitiesModify and create 3D CAD models and drawingsCreates and modifies Bills-of-Materials in CAD and MRP/ERPCreate and modify documentation to manufacture and assemble productsFollow direction provided by Design & Project EngineersQualificationsExperience w/ 3D CAD software, SOLIDWORKS preferred, creating models, assemblies and drawingsIntermediate MS Office SuiteKnowledge of GD&TPerform basic engineering calculationsSkilled in time management, prioritizing and managing changing prioritiesCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writingExperience And EducationBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering2 years of related experienceWork Environment and Physical DemandsTo perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include weekdays, weekends, nights and/or holidaysAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. may be required.Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel Assam a Client's office, production facility or industrial/construction job site.
