Role : Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL
Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing heavy/mobile equipment using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hydraulics, weldments, castings, GD&T, and mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Develop weldments, castings, and hydraulic system components.
- Apply GD&T principles and create manufacturing drawings.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience with hydraulics, weldments, castings, bearings, and GD&T.
- Background in mobile equipment or heavy equipment industries is preferred.
