Summary:
- Mechanical design and analysis of Turbine Hot Gas Path and Rotor components for HDGT and Aeroderivatives engines.
- Collaborate with Cross Functional Engineering teams and Global Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure that hardware meets Product and Design Practice CTQs.
- Focus on component and sub-system optimizations, including Design for Cost, Design for Variation, and Design for Manufacturability.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design and analysis of Heavy Duty and Aeroderivative gas turbine components.
- Evaluate hot gas path and rotor components.
- Execute design or evaluation of assigned hardware using sound engineering practices.
- Participate and present in technical reviews for all design tasks and outputs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- 4 to 8 years of Engineering analysis experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience designing and analyzing turbine blades, nozzles, and shrouds and/or rotors using ANSYS.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably NX.
- Basic understanding of Engineering principles.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
