We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer that is a SolidWorks pro with 2-5 years of experience to bridge the gap between aesthetic 3D concepts and high-quality manufacturing. You'll be working directly with our production team and technical lab to launch innovative products for the global market.

Job Duties include, but not limited to:
- Become familiar with our products, while learning and understanding the lighting, electrical standards and technology.
- Work in close collaboration with production, manufacturing, technical lab and other engineers for the design of products for optimal quality and manufacturability.
- Test and validate the performance of the product design with prototypes, simulations, calculations, etc.
- Produce component, welding and assembly drawings.
- Create simple and easy to read work instructions for production.
- Provide technical documentation, such as installation instructions and wiring diagrams for use internally and externally by the end-user/installer.
- Design aesthetic 3D model concepts for new products or product improvements.
Required experience & qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in product design (Lighting industry experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks strongly preferred).
- Proven experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and rapid prototyping.
- Knowledge of UL / CE electrical standards is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000+ negotiable based on certifications and skill set
- Health: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage starting after 30 days.
- Future: 401(k) eligibility after 90 days.
- Time Off: Accrual-based PTO and paid holidays.
- Schedule: Full Time, M–F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexibility required to support multi-shift production and client base).
