Mechanical Design Engineer

We have a fantastic company east of Kansas City MO that is expanding and needing to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their team.

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for engineering and design of mechanical assemblies, automation systems, and other related systems for special purpose industrial equipment. Completion of machine layout drawings, required calculations, component specification, and other documentation. Performing engineering tasks related to drafting, mechanical analysis, and design, while maintaining confidentiality and supporting company standards.

Requirements:

1. BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related degree.

2. 2-5 years’ experience in design of manufacturing equipment or industrial machinery (preferred).

3. Applied mathematical skills and mechanical analysis ability.

4. Good verbal and written communication skills.

5. Excellent computer skills with drafting and AutoCAD proficiency.
