Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time position in the Alpharetta, Georgia area. This company is a leading producer of outdoor LCD digital displays.
Employment Type: Direct Hire Location: Alpharetta, GA Expected Pay Range: $60,000 - $120,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree is a plus.
Good work ethic.
2-10 years of design experience.
Experience with sheetmetal and extrusion fabrication processes is a plus.
Experience with PTC Creo and Windchill is a plus, but 3D CAD experience of some type is required.
Experience with PTC Simulate (Mechanica), Flo-EFD, Femap are all a plus. In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Areas of focus for the Mechanical Engineer are concept creation, mechanical design and documentation using PTC Creo & Windchill, electronic packaging, thermal design and analysis of cooling solutions, structural analysis, design for manufacturability and serviceability, BOM creation, manufacturing support & sustaining engineering.
The Mechanical Engineer works in close collaboration with other engineers (electrical, optical, systems, software, industrial), program managers, manufacturing associates and executive staff to deliver cutting-edge products according to accelerated schedules.
The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, taking full advantage of a wide array of fabrication and manufacturing capabilities existing under one roof.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00a - 4:00p
