Mechanical Construction Purchasing Agent
Full-Time $70,000 to $90,000 per year
Overview
We're hiring a Purchasing Agent to manage material and equipment procurement. Ideal candidates have1-3+ years of purchasing or accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset. Construction experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Process material and equipment purchase orders daily
- Select reliable, cost-effective suppliers
- Enter and file purchase orders in Vista by Viewpoint
- Work with vendors to confirm pricing and delivery
- Reconcile and file vendor order acknowledgements
- Collaborate with Project Managers for purchase details
- Obtain quotes from multiple vendors as needed
- Coordinate material deliveries with vendors and warehouse staff
Qualifications - 1-3+ years purchasing experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
