Description

Our client, an aerospace manufacturing company, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be part of the Production Department supporting manufacturing and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and blueprint-reading skills which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Range: $17.11/hr
 

What’s the Job?

  • Operate production equipment used in the manufacturing and assembly process.
  • Manufacture and assemble products according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Interpret aerospace blueprints, diagrams, and guidelines, including some GD&T dimensions.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges.
  • Ensure product specifications and tolerance requirements are met throughout the production process.


What’s Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of related manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret aerospace blueprints and drawings.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
