is currently seeking a
Mechanical Assembly/Technician
for an automotive manufacturer that supplies vehicles for emergency management services. This is an exciting new opportunity in Creswell for individuals who enjoy problem solving, building, and have worked in the automotive industry or similar industry where documentation is a key component to success.
What we are seeking:
- 2+ years of mechanical repair or assembly.
- Experience in assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and some electrical systems.
- The ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Good shop math skills
- Overhead crane experience
- The ability to read BOM’s and do quality checks on finished machinery.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. on a semi-consistent basis.
- Can stand, stoop, bend, push and pull for a 8 -to10-hour shift
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- MiG welding experience is preferred.
- A can-do attitude and work effectively and efficiently with other team members, the customer, and with the engineering staff.
- A safety-first attitude.
- Great attendance, punctuality, and work ethic.
JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Creswell, OR
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 6AM to 4:30PM
- Pay: $20/h - $25/h (DOE)
