    Picture your morning in a climate-controlled shop where precision meets purpose. You gather your mechanical assemblers for a quick huddle, align priorities, and set a pace that keeps safety, quality, and delivery in balance. You coach a new teammate on blueprint interpretation, collaborate with engineering to remove a bottleneck, and verify work against specifications before the units ship to schools and companies worldwide. That’s a typical day guiding mechanical builds that power hands-on learning.

    Your Day-to-Day

    • Guide, coach, and develop a team of mechanical assemblers to hit safety, quality, and output targets
    • Assign daily work, sequence priorities, and balance labor and materials across stations
    • Train, mentor, and provide performance feedback to support growth and accountability
    • Verify assemblies against prints, schematics, and work instructions
    • Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and raise efficiency
    • Partner with manufacturing leadership, engineering, and quality on continuous improvement
    • Champion OSHA and company safety standards and maintain a safe work area
    • Monitor tools, materials, and resources to keep production flowing

    About You

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years in mechanical assembly or manufacturing operations
    • 1+ year in a lead, supervisory, or leadership role
    • Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and following work instructions
    • Hands-on with hand tools and precision measuring devices
    • Clear communicator with strong organization and problem-solving skills

    Preferred

    • Background in training and developing others
    • Exposure to continuous improvement or lean principles

    Schedule & Work-Life Balance

    • Day shift only – no required weekends
    • Consistent hours:
      • Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
      • Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
