Mechanical Assemblers

Nesco Resource is searching for mechanical assemblers to join the build team with one of our long-term clients in the Clarkston area that manufactures specialized equipment using pre-engineered aluminum profiles and industrial controls and components. This shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday, with overtime sometimes on Saturday.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and other specifications through the interpretation of engineering drawings
• Proficiently assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts and sub-assemblies to form completed systems (including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic).
• Lead/assist in troubleshooting of job tasks and projects.
• Proceed through levels of expertise and knowledge of modular aluminum technology manufacturing processes.

• Ability to follow instructions to build various types of assembly projects
• Ability to assist in diagnosing, communicating, and resolving build assembly project deficiencies and problems.
• Print reading skills include the ability to interpret print specifications such as material, dimensions, tolerances, notes, multiple-part views, etc.
• Ability to select and use the appropriate tools needed to perform various types of work tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization, with employees at all levels.
