JOB TITLE: METAL FRAME WORKER
TMD STAFFING in Kyle, TX is hiring for STEEL FRAME ASSEMBLERS for a manufacturer in San Marcos, TX. The right candidate will have experience working General Production, Manual Labor and familiar working in metal/steel manufacturing experience. We are looking for candidates that have good communication skills, that have mechanical aptitude and that will be able to follow given instructions. If you have the ability to use a power drill and know how to use a measuring tape, we want to speak to you. We will select candidates with good work ethic, be solid, dependable and reliable. Our candidate must be prepared to work in a non-climate control environment. The jobs has physical demands and will require that our candidate be able to keep up with the pace. This job offers excellent opportunity for candidates that are looking for full-time work. Steel Toe Shoes will be mandatory. This is a temp-to-hire position that has the potential of becoming permanent. Hablamos Espanol.
SHIFT: 1ST shift - 7:AM to 3:30PM - Monday to Friday w/ occasional Saturday's
PAY: $16 / HR
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist in set up of line to run material
Follow and support safety requirements within the facility
Practice good housekeeping and maintain work area clean, machines clean and tools and equipment clean
Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned
Must have excellent attendance
Must have reliable transportation
Must know how to use power tools
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
Must be able to pass a drug test
Must have a decent background check
Must be eligible to work in USA
