Mechanical Assembler – 1st Shift

Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Overtime may occasionally be required
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts, components, and assemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
- Inspect assembled products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled units.
- Identify and report defective materials, parts, or equipment.
- Record production data and complete required documentation.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve assembly issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
