This role is ideal for someone with experience in precision manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or CNC machining environments. What Youll Do
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Use hand tools and power tools for fit-up, fastening, adjustment, and final assembly
- Perform quality checks to verify measurements, alignment, and overall fit
- Work with precision-machined parts and follow detailed build requirements
- Support production tied to machining and assembly operations
- Help identify and correct fit-up or assembly issues during the build process
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and aligned with safety and quality standards
What Were Looking For
- Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, or work instructions
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Strong understanding of precision measurements and close tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer skills for production-related documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive work
Preferred
- CNC mill, lathe, or 5-axis experience
- Experience working with machined components
- Familiarity with metric measurements
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other high-precision manufacturing
- Vocational or technical training in machining or mechanical assembly
