What youll do

? Equipment Assembly: Accurately assemble pumps, valves, and process equipment by reading and interpreting blueprints and technical manuals. Prepare components before assembly and conduct thorough testing and inspection to ensure quality and fit without creaks or leaks.

? Maintenance and Repair: Perform tear down, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of pumps and valves, including sandblasting and painting as needed. Work hands-on daily to maintain equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

? Documentation and Reporting: Maintain precise records of work performed, including time sheets, parts used, and inspection reports, ensuring all data entry related to customer or Weir equipment is accurate and up to date.

? Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to identify and resolve issues, improve processes, and enhance productivity within a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

? Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to customer sites for on-site adjustments and support, ensuring equipment operates optimally in the field.

? Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What youll bring

Must-haves:

? 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or as a mechanic

? Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals

? High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice-to-haves:

? Experience working with pumps and/or rotating equipment

?Electrical background, including wiring of pumps with motors

? Experience in the mining industry

? Hands-on experience with pump brands such as Warman, Gallagher, Hazleton, Ash, Lewis, and Delta pumps

? Previous training or certification in pump maintenance and repair
