Responsible for the daily maintenance repairs of facility(s), preventive maintenance of all life and non-life safety equipment, operations and repairs of the power plant, and grounds. Have thorough working and trouble shooting ability for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building automation system.
What You Will Do in This Role:
· Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC equipment, exhaust systems, building automation systems on the hospital campus.
· Plan, coordinate, and provide hands on skills for minor alterations and construction not requiring city or state permits.
· Perform or manage comprehensive ground repairs.
· Perform testing and operation of Emergency Power system (Generator testing)
· Perform testing of fire pump.
· Assist Plant Director with Fire alarm/sprinkler testing schedules and repairs.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
· 3 years previous experience in healthcare maintenance setting or 5 years in a commercial building.
· Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, building automation systems, and customer service skills.
· Strong knowledge of Emergency Generators and fire code.
· Technical school required without previous experience.
