Responsibilities:
Inspect and repair company equipment, such as pickup trucks, line trucks, trailers, mini excavators, backhoes, compressors, and generators, in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
Perform road tests and operational checks of vehicles and equipment to ensure the quality of repairs and service
Place orders for required parts, materials, and supplies, as required
Prepare and maintain records and reports
Monitor prioritized projects, activities, and assignments to ensure the completion of deadlines
Maintain tools, supplies, and workstations in a clean, safe, and presentable manner
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
Qualifications:

You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
You are looking for long-term projects
You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
You have a High School Diploma, or equivalent
You have a valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
You have or will have a DOT medical card prior to the start date
You have knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics
Have knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures
You have the proven ability to do tune-ups, brake jobs (hydraulic and air), and basic wiring
You have extensive Heavy Truck/Heavy Equipment repair experience
You have the ability to use a cutting torch and basic welding skills
You have knowledge of Vermeer/Ditch Witch drills, plows, and mix systems repair procedures
You have experience with Altec, POSI Plus, Versa Lift, and Terex aerial units
You have good verbal communication skills
You have precise hand-eye coordination
You have the ability to work with little supervision
You have clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships
Compensation of $35-$40 per hour, depending on the experience.
