We are a small construction company in New London, NC seeking a reliable and experienced part time mechanic to join our team. We take pride in maintaining a safe, efficient fleet and are looking for someone who can help keep our equipment running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair construction equipment and machinery
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
• Basic fabrication and welding as needed
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a heavy equipment or construction mechanic
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and service manuals
• Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight spaces

This position will be part time with approximately 20-30 hours per week and located in New London, NC.
