<div>We have an exciting opportunity for a Pipe Welder position in Gosse Creek, SC with one of our Clients in the Ship Building Industry.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul><li>4-5 years of Pipe Welding experience </li><li>Must be able to pass hair drug test</li><li>Must have Shipyard experience</li><li>Multi-pass. All position fillet and butt welds using the SMAW (Shielded metal arc) process </li><li>Ability to fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel and copper nickel pipe using the SMAW and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes </li><li>Mirror welding using SMAW and GTAW</li><li>Use fillet gauges, butt gauges, and a six-inch scale</li><li>Heating oxygen/propane heating</li><li>Ability to fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel and copper nickel pipe</li><li>Thin wall socket (0.187 wall joints)</li><li>Performs welding process on steel parts and assemblies to required tolerance using welding metals and metal alloys</li><li>Determine layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawing and specifications </li></ul><div><strong>Hours:</strong></div><ul><li>1st Shift-7am-3:30pm</li></ul><div><strong>Pay:</strong></div><ul><li>$50 Hr</li><li>$135 Per diem if you qualify</li></ul><div>#ISS </div><div> </div><div> </div>
