FIRST CUTTER: Hourly Lead Person in the Meat Department and responsible for supervising the Departments production activity while working as a senior Meat Cutter. This persons primary duties involve creating and maintaining the Departments cutting list, prioritizing tasks, assigning jobs, and supervising the work of the Cutting Room crew including ordering, receiving and checking-in perishable and non-perishable merchandise, cooler and freezer organization, customer service, product rotation, inventory [Backstock Control], cutting, packaging, sanitation, and housekeeping. Secondary duties assume related activities as required including direct assistance to the Meat Manager in all areas of the Department and covering for him or her in the Managers absence.
