Under direct supervision, the Meat Cutter is responsible for breaking, cutting, and preparing meat products according to company standards using hand tools and power equipment.
Tasks include preparing meat for display or customer orders, working with customers on special orders, and collaborating with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to determine necessary cuts.
This role requires performing heavy lifting, bending, standing, and stooping for extended periods in a fast-paced grocery environment. Physical requirements include standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory acuity.
A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is necessary for all food preparation, handling, and serving roles.
