We are seeking an experienced Meat Category Manager to support retail customers by driving profitable meat sales, providing merchandising expertise, and acting as a liaison between the company and stores.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct store visits to support sales growth and offer guidance.
- Analyze financial, operational, and competitive data; deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and execute meat merchandising plans, including allocations and planograms.
- Coordinate weekly ad planning with vendors and store teams.
- Monitor inventory, quality, and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Utilize technology to track and report performance results.
Requirements:- 3+ years of retail meat merchandising or related experience.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand, walk, and perform hands-on merchandising.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel regionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; work occurs in stores and cold environments.
This role offers a salary of $75K+ DOE, benefits including health, 401K, vacation, and a company laptop.
