PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced, mission-minded Pediatrician (0.6 FTE) to join our compassionate team in Florence, a scenic coastal town centrally located on the Oregon Coast. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys mentoring, collaborative care, and helping shape pediatric services in a rural community setting.

Position Highlights

  • Primarily outpatient practice with 3 flexible clinic days/week (8-hour shifts)
  • 120-150 on-call days/year, supporting low-acuity birth center
  • Opportunity to mentor primary care teams and help build out pediatric ER support
  • Work closely with a collaborative care team including Integrated Behavioral Health Specialist, Social Worker, Diabetic Educator, Care Management RN, Palliative Care & Womens Health, Wound Care, Scribe Service (DAX)

  • First Year Salary Guarantee: $265,000, plus $700 per call shift

Qualifications

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited U.S. Pediatric Residency or RCPSC-accredited Canadian Pediatric Residency
  • Unrestricted Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALS within 30 days of hire
  • Experience in mentoring and interest in rural pediatric care development preferred
