Title:\n \nMCPP Philippines: Engineering Quality Control Inspector\n \nBelong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! \n \nProgram Summary\n \nThe Marine Corps' Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) and Marine Corps\n \nPrepositioning Program has been operationally invaluable in supporting our Nation's interests across the world. This unique program provides the essential elements needed to support and execute crisis response, global reach, and forward presence. The Marine Corps' Prepositioning Program enables the rapid deployment of Marine Air Ground Task Forces (MAGTFs) and/or augment individual Marine units forward deployed. These forces are uniquely capable of strengthening alliances, securing strategic access, and defeating hostile adversaries. MPF is keystone in the Marine Corps' capability for setting the conditions for national security. The prepositioning of equipment and supplies to support MAGTFs from Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB), to Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) level employment, enables Marine forces to fulfil their role and responsibility as our Nation's force in readiness. Our prepositioning programs will continue to enable operations across the Joint Operational continuum \u2013 including shaping, deterrence, seizing the initiative, domination, stabilization, and enabling of civilian authorities. When combined with the forces and their equipment arriving in the fly-in echelon (FIE), prepositioning programs provide forward deployed equipment and supplies needed to sustain a MEB-sized MAGTF for 30 days of operations; thus reducing total strategic lift requirements.\n \nJob Summary\n \nThe scope of this position is to manage the quality program for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program \u2013 Philippines (MCPP-PHIL) engineering equipment to include the development and enforcement of maintenance and supply policies and procedures. The MCPP-PHIL Engineering Quality Control Inspector will report directly to the MCPP-PHIL Quality Manager.\n \nRoles and Responsibilities \n \nPlan, coordinate, and execute the performance of all quality management functions for the MCPP-PHIL Task Order by implementing the following: \n\n Collect and analyze data to make decisions that improve Marine Corps engineering equipment readiness, maintenance quality, performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.\n Conduct detailed technical inspections on prepositioned engineering equipment.\n Interpret and communicate technical manual requirements to workforce and management.\n Analyze and display Global Combat Support Systems Marine Corps, and MDSS II data to ensure that equipment is ready for delivery to the customer. \n Monitor and update the Quality Management Data Base (IQS).\n Ensure that all customer generated quality complaints are answered properly and in a timely manner.\n Interpret the Statement of Work and how it applies to the quality program for engineering equipment.\n Serve as liaison to government Quality Assurance Equipment Specialists, facilitate and maintain an excellent working relationship with all government counterparts.\n Monitor the activities of all personnel engaged in the engineering equipment maintenance process, to improve quality and customer satisfaction.\n Use and interpret quality data and reports to identify maintenance status, trends, and process deficiencies. \n Provide quality presentations and metrics to brief senior leadership and make recommendations on ways to improve quality and reduce non-conformances.\n Coordinate with management to brief and train employees on the techniques and tools to identify, analyze, and lead efforts to solve problems and to provide improved customer satisfaction.\n Conduct training on quality trends and ways to improve quality. \n Identify opportunities for process improvements. Establish and lead teams to work process improvement initiatives. Document team progress. \n Collect, monitor, display, interpret, and communicate process metrics to senior management team. \n Achieve quality performance and productivity goals. \n Provide coordination with other groups to accomplish tasks outside normal areas of responsibility.\n Develop and implement new maintenance processes/procedures as needed and make recommendations to improve ISO documents.\n Attend all quality related meetings and technical presentations.\n Perform all other duties as assigned. \n \nBasic Qualifications \n\n Six years of directly related work experience in USMC or Army Quality Control and/or Maintenance.\n Must be a U.S. Citizen.\n Must possess a valid state Motor Vehicle Drivers' License.\n Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.\n Must be able to obtain a work visa and Alien Employment Permit for the Philippines.\n Applicants must be able to pass an FBI Background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations.\n \nPreferred Qualifications\n\n USMC MOS 1310, 1349, 1120, 1169.\n Complete the Maintenance Chief Course or equivalent.\n In-depth understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders.\n Working knowledge of Marine Corps equipment/materiel and associated logistics processes.\n Strong oral and written communication skills.\n Strong analytical skills.\n Working knowledge and application of quality assurance concepts, principles, and techniques.\n In-depth understanding of the services Marine Corps Prepositioning Program provides to the customer and the processes and techniques used to deliver these services.\n* Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.\n \nKBR Benefits\n \nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
