VISTA member will expand Dixon School's fundraising efforts through assessment, research and grant drafting. Goals of grant research include: infrastructure improvements, hardware upgrades, STEM equipment, program enrichment, basic needs support and increasing professional development opportunities for staff. VISTA will evaluate barriers and create a survey on Dixon School daycare access. VISTA will create print and digital materials that enhance Dixon School daycare awareness. VISTA will conduct a basic needs assessment of the student population and increase food security of students & families through strengthening of local partnerships and research.
