Title: Matrimonial Paralegal

Type: Contract (With potential extension/conversion in FTE based on the business needs)

Schedule & Location: Onsite, Mon - Fri - White Plains, NY

Pay: $30 - $32

 

What You'll Do:

  • Draft trial binders and organize case materials for hearings and trial prep.
  • Review discovery documents and prepare responses and supporting materials.
  • Scan, file, and convert documents to PDF; manage electronic and hard-copy case files.
  • Review bank statements and financial statements.
  • Use Westlaw, Excel, Outlook, and court-filing systems such as NYSCEF.
  • Update calendars, track deadlines, and support attorney scheduling.
  • Assist with administrative and office support tasks as needed in a team-oriented environment.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in matrimonial or family law.
  • Experience with divorce, prenuptial agreements, judgments, discovery, and litigation support.
  • Strong filing experience, including NYSCEF and state court e-filing.
  • Proficiency in Westlaw, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Notary Public status is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, reliable attendance, and a team-first mindset.
