Position Summary
The MaTRIC Research Associate position will manage efforts for 2-3 federally or privately funded cancer-related, population sciences projects. The position is part of the Lineberger Cancer Center's MaTRIC (Managing Teams, Research and Integrated Coordination) Program, which provides two services: (1) centralized research management services for Population Science researchers; and (2) best practices and training on effective research and financial management for science at UNC.
For the studies this position supports, the position will serve a critical role by acting as a primary point of contact in the communication and coordination among study partners and by assuring the timely implementation of research activities. Responsibilities may include: coordinating research operations; managing data collection and analysis; ensuring research compliance and financial management; coordinating research team meetings; assisting in report submissions; and maintaining collaborative partnerships with participants and research partners.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
