What we’re looking for: DRP is currently seeking a full-time Maternal Infant Health (MIH) Peer Navigator. The MIH Peer Navigator will provide peer support to pregnant and postpartum people who have been identified as having risk for substance misuse. This individual will also work with community partners to develop referral pathways to health system navigation, education, health advocacy, and linkage to relevant services, including social support services for pregnant individuals that need peer support. This role requires using a specialized set of knowledge, experience, training, and skills to encourage healthy attitudes and behaviors which prevent the use/misuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Compensation Range: This position is supported through grant funding. As a result, compensation is determined by the grant budget and may fall within a designated pay rate or range set by that funding source. The starting pay range for this position is $21.43-$24.00 per hour and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.
