Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Lovelace Women’s Hospital has 120 licensed beds, including a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities:
  • The overall responsibility of the Materials Tech is to coordinate and assist with the daily inventory management and control of procedural area supplies.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Additionally, this role includes the use of analytic tools to accurately capture spend and utilization data (Lawson, Epic, Excel) in support of inventory control and management.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Two (2) years of related experience, of which one (1) year must have been in Materials Management or Clinical Area.

Preferred Job Requirements:  

  • RP system, such as Lawson, experience.

  • Warehouse organization and operational experience.

  • Knowledge of Epic decremented inventory.

  • Understanding of operating room products and their uses.

  • Knowledge of PO pricing and GL interaction.

  • Computer literacy to include MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and take action.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to act independently by managing multiple priorities, projects, and tasks.

  • Ability to deal with stressful situations.
